About Dr. Melissa:

Dr. Melissa realized she wanted to become a chiropractor while in the 8th grade. Tasked to fill a student career fair with local businessmen, she met a local chiropractor who forever altered her career choice. She knew she wanted to be a part of health care, but was uncertain of her place until then. While in high school, she shadowed and worked for Dr. Jeff Reeder at Reeder Chiropractic. Following high school, she journeyed to Fort Collins, Colorado, where she completed her undergraduate work at Colorado State University pursing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Anatomy and Physiology. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she moved to Davenport, Iowa, to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. After graduating Valedictorian of her class, she and her husband Luke moved to Colorado Springs where she practiced for three years before moving her practice to Falcon, Colorado.

Dr. Melissa strives to provide personal, quality chiropractic care. She emphasizes preventative measures, patient education, and nutrition. In order to give her patient’s the utmost care, she has attended numerous seminars, practiced, and studied countless hours to master the low-force, instrument-based adjusting technique called Activator. Her commitment to Activator stems from its research, dedication to the advancement of chiropractic, and its clinical outcomes making it versatile and safe for any age group. In addition, Dr. Melissa utilizes a muscle-based technique called Nimmo which is designed to help ease and relax spastic muscles.

Dr. Melissa is committed to the learning process and attends continuing education regularly to ensure that she is educated in the best clinical tools possible to provide the safest, most efficient care available. Since Dr. Melissa is a sole practitioner, she will provide all aspects of your care giving you the peace of mind that you are receiving the highest quality care that you deserve.

In her spare time, Dr. Melissa enjoys spending time with her crazy two year old pug Sophie, her cat Nikki, and her husband Luke. Dr. Melissa also enjoys long-distance running, yoga, and Pilates. Together, Dr. Melissa and Luke enjoy hiking, traveling, and cooking with a paleo-based emphasis.

Thank you for trusting us to give you the care you deserve.
